Relaxed autumnal family photo session in the new forest

I recently had the pleasure of joining a family for a walk & some relaxed photographs in the beautiful New Forest. It was such a fun session with two very cute & cheeky boys.

As a photographer, I love capturing moments that truly reflect the relaxed and happy nature of a family. It’s all about capturing natural expressions and genuine interactions, rather than stiff poses and forced smiles.

We started off with some playful activities, like chasing each other and hide & seek as well as throwing leaves in the air. This allowed everyone to loosen up and forget about the camera, creating a relaxed atmosphere that naturally translated into the photos.

I love the New Forest it provides a stunning backdrop for sessions, we’re so lucky to have such a beautiful place on our doorstep and i do find there is a huge demand for photos in the area – there are so many lovely spots to explore.
