Hi I’m Lou, a Wedding & Portrait Photographer based in the New Forest, Hampshire.

I studied Photography at Southampton Solent University many moons ago & I’m also a qualified teacher!

I’m chatty & bubbly but am an introvert at heart. I am always up for a good laugh, life can sometimes be too serious! I’ve been married to my husband Aaron for years now. Our wedding day (21st June 2014) was the best day ever, and I love looking back at our wedding video and photographs – but nothing can compare to the feeling you get during the day, it’s simply amazing!

As a wedding present, Aaron surprised me with my gorgeous Jack Russell puppy Otis, who I love to bits. He is such a calm and lovely dog and will always be my baby (yes, I’m kind of a crazy dog lady!). I now also have an additional Jack Russell called Eddie who is absolutely nuts!

In 2016 I became a mum to my own little blonde bombshell Evie, and I had my son Arthur at the end of 2020.

I love natural light, especially at golden hour, and all things romantic. I’m a soppy sod!

I have a huge love for shoes – I do have a rather large collection – I used to have a designated shoe room, but since Arthur arrived and he needed the third bedroom, I’ve had to relocate them to my office.

My love for photography came at an early age thanks to my amazing dad, who was a keen amateur photographer. Since then I’ve always been creative and a lover of photography, which led me to pursue a career in the arts.

I progressed onto university to complete a degree in Photography and qualify to teach the subject at a higher educational level. However, my real passion lies in taking photographs and capturing special moments for my clients to treasure forever.

I have collaborated with many local businesses including Longdown Activity Farm, Little Lillies, R&M, and The Garden Society, to name but a few.

My photographic style reflects all the things I love — fine details, natural light, colours, and texture — to create gorgeous, relaxed, and romantic images.
